Being visible is one of the biggest challenges for new entrepreneurs and many of my clients, the fear of judgement and what will people will think can stop us in our tracks and sabotage our businesses. I have personally done a great deal of work on this and decided I might as well own it and put myself out there, or I will not be able to help as many people.
Last week I was interviewed for a presentation to the World Congress on Positive Psychology to discover the role of mindset in entrepreneurial success for women. I was so excited to be consulted and asked to be a case study. Since discovering the importance of it on my own journey it has been my mission to help others in theirs, and I am so thankful I get to do that everyday. I am excited to be able to share my message wider.
Then last night I presented a talk to a networking group in Sydney, it had been a while since I’d spoken in front of a group, but my nerves weren’t nearly as bad as they’ve been in the past, and I actually quite enjoyed it. Standing in front of a group of people and telling them what you do can be daunting, but i’m so passionate about it I know I just have to get over myself, plus it’s great practise for a big event coming up in a few weeks, as I’m hosting two workshops at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) annual conference here in Sydney, as an alumni it’s a great honour to be chosen, and i’ll be talking on this exact subject, my talk is called ‘Overcome limiting beliefs and discover the power of becoming visible’! 🙂
Lastly, I’m really excited I can finally share i’ll be in the next edition of my mentor Gina DeVee’s, Divine Living magazine coming out tomorrow, I could hardly believe it when I got the email asking to feature me, and can’t wait to see how it turns out, I’ll send you a copy tomorrow. Ahh it’s time to get really visible. The picture below was the first time i met Gina, less than a year ago, wow, how life has changed!
There is so much possibility for all of us, as soon as we get out of our own way! Let’s do this!
Lots of love,
